Cadaver Labs
We offer state of the art Cadaver Labs at BioSkills of North Texas (UNTHSC) in Ft. Worth, TX! These labs are geared towards Flight Crews, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Associates, and Physicians practicing in the Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Prehospital, and Austere environments. We will cover numerous invasive procedures that few other labs will teach you!
Beginning each day with a lecture period, we quickly move into the lab after lunch to apply the techniques discussed in lecture. Covered procedures include (but are not limited to): Airway Management, Chest Tubes, Surgical Cricothyrotomy, Needle Cricothyrotomy, Lateral Canthotomy, Clamshell Thoracotomy, Pericardiocentesis, Emergent Amputations, and more!
Learn critical procedures that you can apply in the setting you work in when lives are truly at stake. All of these procedures have the ability to save life and limb when implemented with proper training and in a timely manner.
In addition, we can do specific procedures upon request.
