What services do you offer?

Medic offers advanced cadaver skills courses, customized education classes and private consulting for special events. Our advanced cadaver skills course is a two day course totalling sixteen hours with ten of those hours providing practice of emergency procedures on fresh cadavers. Our customized education classes are designed around your needs. We specialize in critical care transport, flight medicine, airway/ventilator management and advanced emergency procedure training. Please fill out our customized education intake form in order for us to better understand your educational needs. Lastly, we provide consulting for special events and have worked at some of the largest events in the United States.

How much does the cadaver lab cost?

The advanced cadaver skills course is two days and consists of sixteen hours of lecture and hands on cadaver experience. The cost is $1500 per person. This cost includes high level education, fresh, non-embalmed cadavers and sixteen hours of category one CME's.


How much do customized education classes cost?

We are unable to provide standard pricing due to the fact that these are customized education classes. Please fill out our customized education intake form in order for us to better understand your educational needs. Once we understand your needs then we will provide you with pricing details.


What skills are covered in the cadaver lab?

Our advanced cadaver skills course is 2 days and consists of 16 hours of lecture and hands on cadaver experience. The lecture portion is 4 hours total. There is also a 1 hour suturing lab and 1 hour pre-lab procedure overview. The cadaver lab is 10 hours total. Procedures covered in the cadaver lab include: tube and finger thoracotomy, escharotomy, pericardiocentesis, lateral canthotomy, clamshell thoracotomy, field amputations and airway management. This course provides 16 category 1 CME’s.

How many people per cadaver?

There is a max of eight students per cadaver.

Each student will have the opprotunity to apply the skills learned in the course on the cadaver. Medic works with BioSkills of North Texas (BNT) which is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. BNT provides Medic with fresh, never embalmed cadavers for the highest quality experience possible.
